Interview with Alan Lee Briscoe, NASA engineer and manager, as part of the Skylab Oral History Project. Stoker discusses his family and growing up, getting involved in the rodeo, traveling shows, being drafted into the Army and serving in Korea, celebrities he has worked with, the Six Flags Wild West Show, induction into the National Cowboy Hall of Fame, contemporary rodeos, his favorite acts, and reflections on his career. In appendix are two promotional photos of Stoker and his horse, and three of him performing.
Interview with Thomas Hayman, a builder from Huntsville, Texas, who was involved in the development of Hamilton Park. Hayman discusses his education and early career, going into the construction business, work with the Army Corps of Engineers during WWII, building projects in Dallas, the Dallas Interracial Association, prominent figures in Dallas business and the black community, and the process of building Hamilton Park.
Interview with H. F. Elliot, a doctor in Aransas County from Ames, Iowa. Elliot discusses his education, the most common illnesses he treats, common diseases in the county, the patients he sees, the capabilities of different hospitals he refers them to, quarantine, hurricanes, the school system, local sports, and his involvement in the Boy Scouts.
Interview with J. L. "Smokey" Sherman, an Army WWII veteran and POW from Ponder, Texas. Sherman discusses joining the Army in 1940, going to the Philippines and being stationed on Corregidor, the siege and fall of the island, his escape from capture and time as a guerrilla, surrender, and experiences in internment at Cabanatuan and Kobe.
Interview with Chester Dellinger, a Navy WWII veteran from Locksburg, Arkansas. Dellinger discusses his experience aboard the USS Thornton during the attack on Pearl Harbor, including his entry into the service, assignment to the Thornton, life onboard and operations, the morning of the attack, and events during the following night.
Interview with Rebecca H. Bishop, a USMC Iraq War veteran from Los Angeles, California. Bishop discusses choosing to become a Marine Corps officer, attending the Naval Academy, being a female in the Corps, experiences and combat in Iraq in 2005-06, life as a Marine parent, attending Army Airborne School, the Advanced Degree Program and graduate school, leadership and decision making, the relationship between enlisted and officers, women in combat, plans for the future, and some general reflections. An appendix includes a short chronology of Bishop's military career.
Interview with Roy Allen, an Army Air Corps WWII veteran and POW from Denton, Texas. Allen served during the invasion of the Philippines in December 1941, after which he fought with Filipino guerrillas until his capture by Japanese forces in mid-1942. He was interned at the Del Monte Plantation, Mindanao, and later at Yokkaichi, Japan.
Interview with Forrest B. Earnest, a former member of the Civilian Conservation Corps from Cotton County, Oklahoma. Earnest discusses his family origins, education and jobs as a young man, joining the CCC, working on the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge, organization and geography of the camp, working as a clerk, routine, leisure, pay, educational programs, religion and literature in camp, fights, and benefits of being in CCC.
Interview with William E. Moore Jr., a Army WWII veteran from Temple, Texas, who was present at the attack on Pearl Harbor. Moore discusses his time in the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M, assignment to 24th Division Artillery at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, training and alerts, the attack at Wheeler Field and taking defensive positions around Oahu, and service afterwards.

Longstaff discusses his childhood, gay men in the British military in the 1960s, moving to Dallas, becoming involved in gay rights, attempting to become a US citizen, his trial for being a gay immigrant and deportation, immigration reform, and gay marriage.
