The composer attempts to prioritize the emotional aspect over the intellectual aspect of the music.
Stretto
Recording of Matthias Ockert's Stretto. This is a work for 8-channel tape and was commissioned by the ZKM (Center for Arts and Media) at Karlsruhe, Germany. This work comes from a larger composition that was inspired by 12 terms from Holls essay, "Intertwining". The sound materials used in this composition came from recorded samples of electric and acoustic guitar. The title of this piece comes from the musical term "stretto" as well as the "stretto house" built by architect Steven Holl.

Recording of Takayuki Rai's Facade. This is an electronic work for guitar and computer. The live computer system samples the sound of the guitar, performs digital signal processing on it, and reproduces the transformed guitar sound in the hall in real time. In this piece, the acoustic facade is being created in the time domain with guitar and computer transformed guitar sound. This work premiered as an interactive multimedia computer piece at the SonicArt in Tokyo.
Cave Songs (re)mix
Recording of Daniel Matej's Cave Songs (re)mix. This work was concieved mainly as a "next step" from the sound installation, Caves, which the composer had made with Tibor Szemző in 2004. Many of the used and non-used sounds from that installation were used to create this work. The work as a whole contains 5 separate pieces titled: 1. gospel, 2. blues, 3. de profundis, 4. sex, and 5. ho-chi-min. The composer gives thanks to Mr. Richard Sabo for his technical assistance as well as Jan Boleslav Kladivo for the 'artistic accompaniment'.
