A King's Decapitation

This research proves that the painting of Francisco de Goya (1746-1828) from 1800 ('The Cannibals), and his paintings from 1820-1823 (The Black Paintings, 'Judith,' and 'Saturn,' and Miniature, 'Judith') represent changing ideas on decapitation of a monarch.
