Uranium Potential in Precambrian Conglomerates of the Central Arizona Arch: Final Report

Description: From purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the Precambrian conglomerates of central Arizona in sufficient depth to determine whether they contain any obvious uranium concentrations and whether their geologic environment of deposition was permissive or prohibitive of conditions favoring uranium concentration.

Uranium Hydrogeochemical and Stream Sediment Reconnaissance Data Release for Saint Johns NTMS Quadrangle, Arizona/New Mexico, Including Concentrations of Forty-Two Additional Elements

Description: From summary: This report contains data collected during a geochemical survey for uranium in the St. Johns National Topographic Map Series (NTMS) quadrangle of Arizona/New Mexico (Fig. 1) by the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory (LASL) as part of the nationwide Hydrogeochemical and Stream Sediment Reconnaissance (HSSR).

Stream Sediment Detailed Geochemical Survey for Date Creek Basin, Arizona

Description: From introduction: The purpose of the Date Creek Supplement is to characterize the chemistry of sediment samples representing stream basins in which the Anderson Mine (and related prospects) occur. Once characterized, the chemistry is then used to delineate other areas within the Date Creek Basin where stream sediment chemistry resembles that of the Anderson Mine area.

Aerial Radiometric and Magnetic Reconnaissance Survey of Portions of Arizona -- New Mexico: Final Report, Volume 1. Instrumentation and Methods

Description: From introduction: Major objectives of the National Uranium Resource Evaluation (NURE) program, sponsored by the Department of Energy (DOE), are to develop an authoritative, comprehensive assessment of the nation's uranium resources and to provide industry with data and technology useful for the timely discovery and exploitation of uranium ores (ERDA, 1976). The National Aerial Radiometric Reconnaissance Survey is a major element of the NURE program.

Aerial Gamma Ray and Magnetic Survey, Raton Basin Project, The Flagstaff Quadrangle of Arizona: Final Report, Volume 1

Description: From Operations: For the Flagstaff quadrangle, a total of 1930 line miles, excluding reflights and overlaps and missing data were flown by the Tracker and 1348 line miles were flown by the helicopter. The production summary presented below and the detailed daily production in Appendix B describes half of the total project. The Raton Basin Project, of which this quadrangle is a part, covered five other 10 x 2 quadrangles which was or will be covered in separate reports.

Aerial Gamma Ray and Magnetic Survey, Volume 1. Final Report: Shiprock & Gallup Quadrangles (Arizona/New Mexico) and Albuquerque Quadrangle (New Mexico)

Description: From introduction: This final report .is organized in two logical sections: (a) Volume I, containing the survey description, specifications, data processing methods, interpretation methods, regional geologic review and regional survey results and (b) one volume, Volume II, for each of the three quadrangles covered by the Raton Basin Project Area. Each Volume II contains a detailed geologic summary, interpretation report, standard deviation maps, pseudo-contour maps, interpretation map, flight line and geologic base map, individual corrected profiles, computer map unit histograms and statistical tables.
