Description: From introduction: This volume contains information and survey results pertaining specifically to the Saint Johns NTMS 1:250,000 scale Quadrangle, Arizona and New Mexico, one of a group of 12 such quadrangles in Arizona, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, South Dakota, and Washington included in an aerial radiometric and magnetic reconnaissance survey. General information concerning the instrumentation and methods used in data acquisition, processing, and interpretation is presented in Volume 1 of this final report.

Aerial Gamma Ray and Magnetic Survey, Raton Basin Project, The Flagstaff Quadrangle of Arizona: Final Report, Volume 1

Description: From Operations: For the Flagstaff quadrangle, a total of 1930 line miles, excluding reflights and overlaps and missing data were flown by the Tracker and 1348 line miles were flown by the helicopter. The production summary presented below and the detailed daily production in Appendix B describes half of the total project. The Raton Basin Project, of which this quadrangle is a part, covered five other 10 x 2 quadrangles which was or will be covered in separate reports.

Description: From introduction: This final report .is organized in two logical sections: (a) Volume I, containing the survey description, specifications, data processing methods, interpretation methods, regional geologic review and regional survey results and (b) one volume, Volume II, for each of the three quadrangles covered by the Raton Basin Project Area. Each Volume II contains a detailed geologic summary, interpretation report, standard deviation maps, pseudo-contour maps, interpretation map, flight line and geologic base map, individual corrected profiles, computer map unit histograms and statistical tables.

The surveyed area consisted of approximately 3,246 line miles.

Description: From abstract: This report presents the results of the geochemical reconnaissance sampling in the Prescott quadrangle of the National Topographic Map Series (NTMS). Wet and dry sediment samples were collected throughout the 18,770 square kilometer arid-to-semiarid area and water samples at available streams, springs, and wells.
