Abstract: This report is a synthesis of published and unpublished data on the rocks of the Anadarko basin.
Catalog of Recorded Exploration Drilling and Mine Workings, Tri-State Zinc-Lead District--Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma
Report issued by the U.S. Bureau of Mines discussing mining practices conducted in the tri-state district of Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. As stated in the introduction, "the catalog preserves the records of accomplished explorations and mine developments in the district and provides a readily available source of information for individuals and firms interested in planning mineral explorations, Government agencies estimating of reserves of mineral resources, and the mining industry for general use" (p. 1). This report includes tables, maps, and illustrations
The Chemical Thermodynamic Properties of Hydrocarbons and Related Substances: The Use of n-Heptane as a Reference Substance for Low-Temperature Calorimetry
From Introduction and Summary: "This bulletin presents the results obtained n-heptane by the petroleum thermodynamics laboratory of the Bartlesville, Okla., facility. Detailed results of five investigations are given; selected values if the low-temperature thermal properties are tabulated; and comparisons with results that were obtained in other laboratories are made. The findings of this extensive study will serve to characterize the low-temperature thermal data for over 100 compounds that will be presented in a later bulletin of this series."
Developments in Waterflooding and Pressure Maintenance in Osage County, Oklahoma Oilfields, 1961
Report issued by the Bureau of Mines discussing waterflooding techniques used in Osage County, Oklahoma. As stated in the introduction, "information on each individual project covered in this report includes the early history, methods used to complete wells, source and treatment of water, description of automatic custody-transfer systems, oil production-decline curves, mineral analysis of waters, typical electric logs and core analyses, development maps, and the results of waterflooding" (p. 2). This report includes tables, maps, and illustrations.
Effects of Hydraulic Fracturing in Oklahoma Waterflood Wells
Report issued by the Bureau of Mines over studies conducted on water flood wells and hydraulic fracturing. As stated in the introduction, "this report presents results of that study and an analysis of some of the factors governing the results of fracture treatment on water flood properties" (p. 1). This report includes tables, and illustrations.
Relative Permeability Studies: Gas-Oil and Water-Oil Systems
From Summary and Conclusions: "The apparatus and experimental methods used to measure relative permeability-saturation relationships by the unsteady-state displacement method are described for gas-oil systems. The unique feature of the apparatus-design of the gas-oil separator-is described in detail."
