The Minerals Related Implications of a Direct Tax on U. S. Primary Lead Production and Primary Lead Imports

Description: Report assessing the economic impacts of a tax on primary lead and lead imports providing background and scope for the proposed tax. Results of a quantitative analysis based on the application of the Bureau of Mines Availability Model (SAM) to determine the impacts on domestic primary lead coproduct and byproduct production from domestic source material for a range of taxes are presented.
