Mesa 1° x 2° NTMS Area, Arizona: Data Report (Abbreviated)

Description: From abstract: This abbreviated data report presents results of ground water and stream/surface sediment reconnaissance in the National Topographic Map Series (NTMS) Mesa 1 x 2 quadrangle. Surface sediment samples were collected at 713 sites, at a target sampling density of one site per 13 square kilometers (five square miles). Ground water samples were collected at 365 sites. Neutron activation analysis (NAA) results are given for uranium and 16 other elements in sediments, and for uranium and… more

National Uranium Resource Evaluation: Flagstaff Quadrangle, Arizona

Description: From Introduction: "The purpose of this study is to identify and delineate areas favorable for the occurrence of uranium deposits "which could contain at least 100 metric tons of U3O8 which an average grade of not less than 100 ppm U3O8." The study was limited to depths less than 1500 m (5000 ft)."

Summary Geologic Report on Drilling in Western Prescott and Williams Quadrangles: Mohave, Yavapai, and Yuma Counties, Arizona

Description: From abstract: This drilling project in northwestern Arizona consisted of 18 holes drilled to depths ranging from 1,341 to 5,491 feet (409 to 1,673 meters). The holes were sited to determine the lateral extent of the uranium-bearing, paludal/lacustrine strata of the Anderson Mine in Date Creek basin and to obtain additional data to improve the resource estimates for the Date Creek and Big Sandy basins.
