Inasmuch as the descriptions represent the work of many persons during a period of six years, and inasmuch as they were recorded under widely differing conditions, they necessarily vary in fullness detail."

- The purpose of this report is to present the results of a condition survey performed at Malmstrom Air Force Base (MAFB), Montana, during 24-27 April 1972. The three major areas of interest considered in this condition survey were the structural condition of the primary airfield pavements, the condition of pavement repairs and the types of maintenance materials that have been used at this airfield, and any detrimental effects of frost to the pavement facilities.
