Coat Dress

Description: Coat dress of brocade printed with yellow, orange, and purple flowers having pink centers on a navy blue/black/dark purple ground with metallic thread throughout. Mandarin collar, short set-in sleeves. Buttons all the way down center front with self covered buttons and loops. Full length pleated skirt with shaped hemline. Lined in black poly, and the fabric is lined in black interfacing. Designer's label at center back: "Chester Weinberg". Retailer's label inside near back bottom hemline: "Neiman-Marcus"

Cocktail Hat

Description: Cocktail hat of black velvet. The hat has a high, cylindrical crown with flattened top, and a wide brim which curves downwards. Around the base of the crown is tied a wide piece of black net veiling, with bow at back. The veiling "pools" on the sides and front of the brim, and then extends down to cover wearer's face. The brim is lined with the same velvet, while the crown is lined in black satin, with an inner black grosgrain ribbon hatband. Designer's label inside: "Givenchy / Paris"; "Made in / France"

Description: Day dress of red and purple printed wool knit. Knee-length or slightly below, the dress has a fairly deep rounded neckline and long set-in sleeves. Skirt is gathered at slightly dropped waist. Dress has a center back zipper, and is unlined. The dress is made of of areas of print. The bodice and upper part of the skirt has a geometric print of purple diamond/parallelagram shapes on red ground. The sleeves and lower part of the skirt have a print of large purple squares on red ground, forming a checkerboard pattern. Center back lapped zipper. Unlined. Description: Dress of navy blue wool knit. The mid-length dress has a contrasting red wool knit mandarin collar and long sleeves with red wool knit cuffs. Mandarin collar is stitched down at ends. There are two large patch pockets at front, and a center front closure with twelve circular mother-of-pearl buttons mounted with gold-colored metal rims. The buttonholes are bound with the contrasting red wool knit. The dress has an attached wide red wool knit belt/sash which ties at waist in front. Fully lined in dark navy blue silk.
