Platform Pumps

Description: Pair of platform pumps of yellow leather. Designed with a squared toe, the uppers, platform, and heel are all covered in yellow leather. The high heel tapers slightly to base. Retailer's/Brand label: "Neiman-Marcus / Nonesuch" Handwritten inside: (partly illegible) "H?? AA / 7?? 12030 1 73 / ?? 77 712"

Platform Sandals

Description: Pair of platform sandals of navy blue suede and leather. The shoes have a thick platform and 3 3/4" high chunky heel covered with dark blue suede, with yellow embroidered butterflies along the outer side of the heels. Rounded toes, with two wide interwoven dark blue leather straps across instep, and extending from sides of heels upward, behind heel, and across front of ankle to secure with small gold buckles. Stamped underneath: "Made in Greece"

Description: Pair of platform sandals of wood and white leather. Thick brown wood platform/sole/heels with rounded toe. White leather open-toed toebox and straps at back which encircle ankle and secure at sides with gold buckles. 3 1/2" high at heel. Maker's label stamped inside: "Carber / Made in Italy" Stamped inside: "25-455M 8"

Platform Sandals

Description: Pair of platform sandals. Shoes have gold kid leather upper, the vamp knotted. Black patent leather covered soles and heels. 4 1/4" high block-style set-back heel. Written on inside of back strap on each shoe: "5 1/2 B 342440". Stamped on each shoe: "Charles Jourdan / Paris"

Platform Sling-Back Sandals

Description: Pair of platform sling-back sandals of gold metallic leather. Set on a thick platform, the uppers are formed of 6 bands crossing the instep, with a seventh band extending across the bands at center point. A thicker strap begins at mid-arch of foot, and extends back behind heel, securing with a small buckle. The chunky heel is covered in the same leather as the upper and platform. Designer's label: "Creazioni / de / Antonio / Marsini / Milano / Italia" Written inside: "75M 4810 3J / 02-860"

Porch

Description: This low-chroma ink wash painting shows the banister and railing of a staircase leading down from the western porch that fades into the distance. The artist was selected by the Union Art Gallery Committee to have a one-person exhibition in the Union Gallery. This painting was exhibited in the Union Gallery, Union Building, from August 27 until September 13, 2012.
