This fabric artwork contains a large multi-color V shape with a pink ribbon floating across and behind. A shiny pink round shape floats behind the V shape and three square frames, two in the foreground and one in the background, create depth.
The red horizontal fabric artwork includes several vertical parallel lines with a ribbon floating behind to create depth. Lines and textures reminiscent of moss hanging from tree branches fill the left and lower portions of the work.
Underlying horizontal dyed silk with depictions of rolling waves receding into the distance with bird-like ribbons above and in the foreground a framed section of the sea at opposing angle.
Depth is achieved by the diminishing scale of purple wavy lines atop green straight verticals. Floating to the right is a multi-shade brown frame, again with the illusion of depth and inside is a masked face.
Red, blue, and brown brushstrokes covered by a black mesh consisting of forty-nine openings arranged seven by seven through which the reds, blues and browns appear.
Wavy ribbons recede into the distance which is encased in a framed gradation of color and in the background a circular opening through which the ribbons reach.
The horizontally oriented surface designed textile art includes depictions of pink ribbons rippling through the sky into the distant background. At the lower edge is seen a silhouette of a mountainous horizon.
Many layers of handmade papers create depth along with the horizontal frames and cloud formations in the sky. In the center of the artwork are two collaged depictions of a red beach chair.
The horizontal predominately blue and muted gray fabric artwork includes shiny circles, squares with horizons, and groups of parallel lines that float through the space of the artwork.
Vertical dark gray painting with shade gradations from white to black on surface. Some numbers and some text in upper right portion along with red, blue, and yellow green spots.
The white bowl shape is covered with patterned squares filled in with black and blue short hash marks. A sweeping blue transparent overlay shape hugs the side of the bowl as do two horizontally oriented black outlines.
The porcelain artwork consists of a cup shape seated on a base. The cup is covered with yellow, gray and black geometric decoration. The yellow sections are textured with linear striations while the gray areas include some squiggly marks that resemble cursive handwriting.
A tall bowl shape sits atop a cushion shaped base. Both the base and the vessel are covered with a complex series of patterns and textures. Vertical panels of yellow, light blue and black are further enhanced with texture and short curvilinear lines in gray and black. Rectangular cutouts are inside the black sections of both the vessel and base.
The bowl shape sits atop a cushion shape. The white porcelain bowl is decorated with bold black curlicues and black squares. There is some pale yellow wash and fine linear marks.
The artwork is in the shape of a plate and on it is depicted a masked man applying something to a large cactus like shape. The plate is rimmed in a textured blue. The light yellow background of the plate is covered with hieroglyphic type marks and symbols. The man's body is a heavily textured green color and his mask is orange.
The piece consists of a large yellow platter shape within which is a red zero shape, a large and loose black and green X shape between which is a green rod with wire twisted around its length.
The platter's edge is a yellow crackled surface on that encloses a green crackle texture in the center. Six purple curved rectangular shapes begin at the outside edge and move to the center while yellow and orange coils fill one side of the interior of the platter.
The sculptural earthenware piece depicts a person's head from the nose up. The eyes are wide open and atop the head are four shapes resembling ears of corn. The colors are predominately yellows and light browns with blue eyes. The face and hair are highly textured.
The sculpture depicts a crackled yellow head with blue eyes. The bottom portion of the head, including the mouth is not included in the sculptural piece. A serpentine shape in the same yellow color encircles the top of the head. Sitting atop the head like a small hat is a green cylindrical shape out of which protrudes a coil-rope funnel shape.
Half of the bowl is decorated in yellow while the other half consists of many closely spaced dark blue rectangular hash marks. On the yellow half of the bowl are many hieroglyphic type marks.
The vessel is a tall bowl shape covered with a grooved texture over which are some vertical light blue rectangles that pierce a light purple circle that is textured with curvy lines.
The bowl shaped vessel sits atop a matching cushion shaped stand. Both bowl and stand are highly textured with grooved lines as well as amoeba shapes within which curved lines are carved. The colors are pale yellow, pale pink and a dark blue black.
The bowl shape sits atop a cushion shape that echoes the surface colors and textures of the bowl. A circle shape enclosing wiggly lines decorates the center of the exterior side of the bowl. Also around the exterior of the bowl are vertically oriented linear black lines and textural lines.
The drawing consists of a grid drawn in graphite with each corner marked by cross marks. Foiling this pattern is a series of marks created from bean pods that had been dipped in ink and slapped across the surface of the paper.
The sculptural piece consists of a large seed pod shape that appears to burst from the shell but is held closed with five metal ties terminating in flower bud shapes.
The sculptural piece is vertical and begins with a large bulbous, teardrop shape as its base. Emerging vertically is a column from which spring nine flower bud shapes that are attached mechanically with pins and cotter pins to the column or stem.
The large vertical painting consists of a nearly black ground with words and numbers in a light colors. Along the bottom edge is a highly textured surface with the words, beauty and duty, repeated across the bottom edge. Arrows and calculations appear across the dark field. In the upper right is a gold square and some gold splashes of color and texture.
The large vertical painting consists of a dark ground. In the lower portion, five wooden spoons are attached. Along the upper edge is an impression of a hand and a plus and minus sign flank the right and left edges in the upper portion of the canvas. At a diagonal in the lower portion appears a long spatula or spoon shape nestled in a sandy brown area. The surface of the work is complex with numbers, letters and calculations barely visible.
The vertically oriented painting consists of many textures, colors and motifs. The dark ground is richly textured and covered with words, numbers and calculations sometimes partially obliterated. Two large heart shapes face each other, one in the bottom half of the canvas and the other in the top half. They are also richly covered in texture with letters and numbers. About a dozen forks are attached across the surface of the painting; they tumble from the top to the bottom. Flanking the top and bottom edges are some large X marks with thick top and bottom bars.
