Description: The raking view is of the interior hallway of the top floor which runs the width of the building. The glass roof is visible as are the glass rails next to the exterior glass wall. A small space between the glass railings and the columns affords air space and an open feel to the floors below.

Picture hat

Description: Picture hat of finely woven black straw. The low, domed crown has a 1" black velvet hatband. The wide, circular brim is edged in a narrow band of black velvet and is overlaid by black tulle. Trimmed at the front with a cluster of artificial flowers of pinks and peach silk organza and velvet, and sprigs of smaller flowers. Unlined; black grosgrain ribbon headband. Designer's label inside: "Model / Mr. Iaan / Vancouver, B.C.", with a tiny artificial violet blossom attached to top of label.

John G. Diefenbaker Building

Description: This view of the building complex includes a structural log-cabin style fortress in a small area next to the building. The fort is constructed of hewn logs with a fence along the top of which are sculpted fish-like forms.
