Description: Cocktail hat of black velvet. The hat has a high, cylindrical crown with flattened top, and a wide brim which curves downwards. Around the base of the crown is tied a wide piece of black net veiling tied to a bow at back. The veiling "pools" on the sides and front of the brim and extends down to cover wearer's face.
