Fountain Study

Description: This painting features trials in color, paint application, brush strokes, and pencil work in an attempt to blend drawing and painting. This painting depicts the fountain at the front of the property, which has long fallen into a state of extreme disrepair and has been subject to rampant vandalism. The artist was selected by the Union Art Gallery Committee to have a one-person exhibition in the Union Gallery. Victor Costa

Description: Short documentary on fashion designer Victor Costa. Created on the occasion of Mr. Costa receiving the Legend's Award of the University of Houston's College of Technology in November 2015, the video includes archival still and motion images, interviews with Victor Costa, Robert Sakowitz, Roz Pactor, and Jerry Ann Woodfin Costa. Discusses his early life in Houston, education, and work as a fashion designer. Footage includes early interviews and fashion shows.

Dumb Blonde + Superstar

Description: Image of two color inkjet prints mounted on a wall as part of an art exhibition. These two photographs depict the popular Barbie toy doll.
