Description: Hat of purple felt. The hat is visually similar to a toque, but is designed with a domed crown and a brim that turns upwards vertically, forming a high band around the crown. Around the crown is a band of purple ribbon. The hat is unlined, with a black grosgrain ribbon inner hatband. Necklace - Banjara Festival Attire

Description: Necklace. Torc-style necklace of silver, twisted and with wire wrapping at ends. Rigid hook at front to connect ends, and with a single Indian 25 Paise coin mounted near each side of clasp, with pendant silver beads. Suspended from the ends, near the clasp, are two large triangular ornaments of silver openwork, from which are suspended short lengths of silver chain terminating in silver spheres. Coins date from 1982 and 1988.

Coat

Description: Coat of black wool felt lined in cream wool. Street-length, with center front opening and no closures. Rounded high neckline, with no collar, but "corners" of opening flap open to form lapels showing the cream lining. 3/4 length dolmen sleeves with tapered extensions forming 7" "cuffs". Two slit pockets at hips in side seams. The coat appears reversible, but the placement of tags and lack of access to pockets from interior indicates otherwise. Designer's label at inside back collar: "Geoffrey Beene" Care label at inside right side seam: "Dry Clean / Only" Size label attached to Care label: "4" With accompanying black leather belt, with 1" wide sections at ends, and wide 3 1/2" wide "waved" shaped section at center back. Description: Dress of black net with white swirls. Short capped, raglan sleeves; bateau neckline. Swirls in shape of flowers at right shoulder. Knee length under layer; top layer 1" above under layer with slit from hem to chest on right side. Description: Dress of synthetic taffeta in black polka dots on white background. Scoop neck; knee length. Sleeveless; back of dress is halter cut. False attached vest with solid black knit insets, stitched in silver metallic thread and trimmed in silver metallic ribbon. Front of dress is black knit, V-shaped with curved flat pleats at each side of the V at waist. Center back hidden zipper. Lined ivory crepe synthetic (polyester?). Description: Suit of red wool flannel with green and black windowpane plaid, consisting of: A) Coat. Single breasted with four flat, circular gold tone buttons and tailored buttonholes. Lower thigh length; long sleeves with 1-1/2" cuffs and one smaller matching button. Turn down collar. Two flapped patch pockets with large American "Great Seal" type eagles of applique in gold cord, beads, sequins, springs and vinyl that measure 4"x 5", holding arrows and olive branches. Description: Dress ensemble of white net lace embellished with silver bugle beads and tiny silver sequins, and beige silk chiffon: A) Dress of beige silk. Bodice with round neckline and no sleeves, and 2" band at empire waistline; 9" upper portion of skirt of floral embroidered net accented with bugle beads and sequins with rows of scalloped bugle beads at bottom from which full-length beaded fringe falls to hem; skirt continues to full-length with vertical stripes of floral lace and silver bugle beads. 18" slit at center-front; center-back zip closure; fully backed with tan crepe.
