Aviator's Cap Hat

Description: Hat in the form of a white leather Aviator's Cap. The domed ovoid crown is made in six triangular sections, and has straps which extend down and buckle under the chin with two oval gilt metal links. The cap is lined with black satin, and has an inner black grosgrain ribbon hatband. Designer's label: "Adolfo / New York Paris" Retailer's Label: "Amen Wardy / El Paso Texas"

Pumps

Description: Pumps of black velvet. The shoes are designed with gently pointed toe and plain uppers. A narrow band of low-pile area outlines the foot opening. The 3 1/8" high spike heel is covered with the same velvet as the upper. Description: Evening dress of black and white wool satin gaberdine with matching jacket. a) Evening dress. Front and back centered panels of white fabric with sides of black fabric. Sleeveless, squared neckline, full length. Center back zipper closure. Very tailored, completely lined in white silk. Designer's label at inside back zipper: "Jean Marie Armand / Paris / Made in France" b) Jacket. Center front opening with four covered snaps. Bracelet length sleeves with turned-back cuffs in white fabric with one pointed end. Peter Pan collar in white fabric. Front and back centered panels of white fabric with sides and sleeves of black fabric. Completely lined in white silk. Description: a) Cocktail dress of dark green jacquard silk with black field in a pebble motif. Fitted bodice is sleeveless with slight scoop neckline. Gathered, A-line skirt with inseam pockets. Knee-length. Skirt lined in black silk and bodice partially lined at neck with black organza. Left shoulder separates with 5 snaps. Centered, left side zipper with strapped hook & eye. Designer's label at inside back neckline: "EISA" b) Coat of self fabric has sewn down, drawstring neckline. Three-quarter length raglan sleeves. Open front; knee-length. Evening Dress

Description: Evening dress of silk printed with Pucci-style abstract design in pink, purple, blue, yellow, grey, and off-white abstract design. Full length, with slightly flared, 3/4 length sleeves. Dropped waist. Diagonal seams from mid-waist to V-neck front. Center back zipper closure with hook & eye. Fully lined in yellow silk with jacquard maker's logo throughout. Designer's label inside back near neckline: "Bessi / Firenze Italia" Fabric has "Bessi" signature in fabric design. Care tag 1 inch below maker's tag: "To be dry cleaned only / Lavare a Secco" "Made in Italy Pure Silk" sewn in just below care tag.

Mini Dress

Description: Mini dress of bright red wool jersey knit. The tubular mini dress has a rounded neckline and short sleeves. Black, shiny vinyl trim at neckline, sleeve hem, lower hem, and in the form of six Pierre Cardin bullseye trademarks arranged in a triangle from natural waist to lower hem. At center back are hook and eye and zipper closure. Dress is unlined. Designer's label: "Pierre Cardin / Paris New York" Care label: "The vinyl trim / on this garment / has been specially treated / to make dry cleaning possible".

Tunic Top

Description: Tunic top of novelty wool knit. Overall-pattern of abstract/impressionistic small blossoms of pink, yellow, orange, and blue on green ground, with "furry" outer surface. Oval jewel neckline. Empire bodice with set-in short sleeves. Casings at waistline, armholes and sleeve seams. Side-seam slits in skirt portion stopping about 5" below the bodice line. Golden brown suede trim around the neckline, sleeves, hem and slits. Unlined. The floral pattern is very distinct on the interior. No label.

Hat

Description: Hat of red straw. High, rounded crown somewhat like a cloche, surmounted by a ball of same red straw. Roughly oval brim, turning up towards edge, higher in front than back. Brim and base of crown edged with thin band of red grosgrain(?) ribbon. Unlined. Inner hatband of red grosgrain ribbon. Designer's label inside at inner hatband: "Oleg Cassini" Union Label inside.

Skirt Suit

Description: Suit of cream/blue/pink wool boucle. A) Waist-length jacket with round neckline and no collar, two-piece set-in long sleeves, four patch pockets on front, and center-front opening with 5 circular sculptural lion-head gold-tone metal buttons. Matching non-functional buttons sewn on each pocket and on cuffs. Neckline, opening, cuffs, and top edges of pockets with rolled(?) edging. Fully lined in pink silk. Inside bottom hemline weighted with gold chain. No labels. B) Skirt of same material. Below-knee-length. Slim, almost straight, flaring slightly to hem. Narrow waistband with two hook-and-eye closures, just above zipper closure. Lined in pink silk. No labels.

The body of the dress is decorated with vertical rows of clusters of tiny circular mirrored dots, glued to fabric. Wide band at hem of same clusters of mirrors, formed as a repeating band of large roses. Center back opening with hook and eye at neckline and 7 hidden snaps. B) Belt. Black satin belt with large rectangular rhinestone buckle. C) Inner slip of black organza over fine black silk faille. Center back zipper and flesh-colored spaghetti straps. Cocktail Ensemble - Dress and Jacket

Description: Cocktail Ensemble of beige chiffon. A) Cocktail dress. Short, knee-length or slightly longer, sleeveless dress with narrow straps. Rounded neckline with self ruffle edging. Chiffon of bodice is gathered at neckline, vertical at front, but rounding to horizontal at back. Skirt has knife-pleating from natural waistline to hips, the pleats opening from hips and falling softly to hem. Center back zipper closure on main dress, with series of 4 snap closures below waist on pleated outer skirt. The skirt portion is formed as a pleated overskirt of chiffon over an inner silk crepe inner sheath, which has a wide ruffle of crepe at hem. Designer's label: "Christian Dior-New York Inc" Retailer's label: "Neiman-Marcus". B) Sheer jacket, short, almost cropped, of doubled chiffon with long sleeves and self-ruffle trim around edges of cuffs, neckline, center front opening and hem. No label. C) Belt for dress, leather covered on front with chiffon matching dress. Single hidden hook closure. Stamped on back: "14", "Christian Dior / New York, Inc" and 382"

Description: Ensemble of off-white heavy weight linen with hand embroidery. A) Blouse with bateau neckline and embroidered in large, stemmed pink flowers. Sleeveless. Fitted with darts at bust. Attached belt of self fabric wraps around back waist from front right seam and snaps under a self-knotted section at left front seam. Hem is just below waist. Size label in lower zipper seam. B) Skirt of linen with 1'' waistband and box pleat panel at center front forming an A-line. Two darts at back and front; mid-length. Center back zipper closure with hook & eyes on waistband. Description: Ensemble of green silk faille. Over-bodice. Short, cropped top with wide, rounded neckline. The short, set-in sleeves are open along the entire top, each sleeve with 3 sets of 4 paired eyelets which are laced with three ties per sleeve. Center back zipper opens from bottom, not opening all the way to back neckline. Designer's label at right side seam: "Christian Dior - New York Inc." Dress. Below-knee length, with wide rounded neckline. Sleeveless, with fitted bodice. Slightly raised waist(?), into which the full skirt is gathered and pleated. Center back zipper with hook & eye at neckline, and hook and loop at waist. Unlined. Designer's label at inside back below zipper: "Christian Dior New York, Inc." Retailer's label at inside back below zipper: "Neiman-Marcus" Center back zipper with hook & eye at neckline and hook & loop at waist.
