Description: Modified cloche hat of dark blue velour. The oval body of the cloche is designed to be worn cross-wise on head, with one side dipping lower than the other. The sides are decorated with star motifs in dark blue sequins, beads and velvet circlets. Unlined, with inner hatband of black grosgrain ribbon and edged with a dark purple(?) band. Designer's and Retailer's combined label: "Hattie Carnegie / Inc / Original / Expressly for / Neiman-Marcus" Stamp on inside crown illegible.

Description: Dark red silk faille afternoon dress, princess lines - fuller in back. Natural waist line. Fly front zipper opening but covered at waist with intricately cut huge self bow that fastens at side creating the look of a wrap front closure. V-neck, small collar, 3/4 sleeves. Description: Hat of navy blue wool felt. Styled as a calotte (also spelled "calot"), the hat is formed as a low crown of navy blue wool felt. Description: Hatlet of beaded velvet. The small, circular, slightly domed hatlet is of off-white velvet with printed scrolls and curves in greens, browns and blues. Short length, partial roll 2-piece collar of sheep fur, center front closure with 4 brass-tone key-in-slot closures, full length raglan sleeves with slits bound in tan leather, closed with 1 key-in-slot closure. Angled welt pockets on right and left side of of front at waist level, bound in tan leather, center front opening and hem also bound in tan leather. Fully lined in (artificial?) fur.
