Ensemble - Jacket and Slacks

Description: Daytime, travel ensemble in heather oatmeal wool jersey knit. a) Blazer. Single breasted with 7 self-covered buttons and bound buttonholes. Long, set-in sleeves; Peter Pan collar. Two small patch pockets on sides at breast and two larger patch pockets on hips. Lined in beige silk. Designer's label at center back neckline: "Norman Norell / New York" Care label below designer's label: "Care Instructions / Professionally / Dry Clean Only" Retailer's label at inside right hem: "Lou Lattimore / Dallas" b) Slacks. Description: Two piece ensemble of ivory bouclé mohair. a) Day dress. Sleeveless bodice of ivory silk. High waist and straight skirt of ivory bouclé. Center back zipper with hook & eye. Skirt lined in silk matching bodice. Designer's label at inside right side seam " Autumne - Hiver 1963 / Christian Dior / Paris" Style number stamped on label: "20980" b) Jacket/over blouse; box style. Front placket with 6 mother-of-pearl 1" non-functioning buttons and bound buttonholes gives a double breasted appearance. Rolled collar which wraps around neckline is fastened with a matching button and loop and 12 covered snaps. Long, set-in sleeves. Center back zipper with hook & eye. Lined in sheer, ivory organza.

Riddler Cocktail Dress

Description: Dress of sueded black polyester/lycra knit with green "Riddler" question marks printed in various sizes, the question marks covered in applied clear novelty "sequins". The knee-length dress has a scoop neckline, and spaghetti straps formed of gray metal (pewter?) question marks set with emerald green rhinestones. Unlined.

Evening Dress

Riddler Jacket

Description: Jacket of black polyester satin printed with green "Riddler" question marks of various sizes. The hip-length jacket is single breasted with three oval gray metal (pewter?) "Batman" symbol buttons, and notched collar. Two front patch pockets. Long sleeves. Lined in green polyester satin with large black question mark on center back.

Description: Dress of black wool crepe in shift style. Knee length, with round neck and long narrow sleeves with zippers at wrist. See-through black lace trim running the length of dress at center front, shoulders, and outside of sleeve. Black satin 1-1/2" ribbon belt below bust line gives the effect of an empire waist; closes at center bow from the left with covered snaps and hook & eyes. Center back zipper with hook & eye. Capelet

Description: Two-tiered capelet of midnight blue/black velvet and off-white lace. Capelet extends to about small of back, and has high, standing collar trimmed in dense ruff of tightly gathered of black chiffon. Around throat, along both sides of center front opening, around hem, and on edges and hem of the wide tier (7" at center front, 8" over shoulders) is wide band of off-white floral and scroll lace, placed as an applique along edges. Lined in brown fabric. Designer's label at center back neckline: "Mme. Josse / 3 / Boulevard des Italiens / Paris"

Bed Jacket

Description: Bed jacket of black openwork. Hip length-jacket is formed of vertical panels of black braid open work net overlaid/appliquéd with black braid in scrolls and arabesques, the whole is lined/backed with black silk. The panels are constructed to create princess seamed segments for shape/fit. Elbow-length sleeves, V-neckline at front with two hook & eye closures on center front. Neckline and upper part of opening trimmed with off-white eyelet lace ruffle. Two black braided circular button-like applied elements at center front, one at either side of opening.

Dress

Description: Child’s "Flower Girl" dress made from pieces of Irish lace. Knee-length, the dress has a round neckline and short sleeves which are slit along the lower 7 1/2" of length. The lower part is slightly A-line with scalloped lower edge, and has one horizontal section mid-way between waist and hem made to have a ribbon threaded through. The center back opening has a 7 1/2" slit at neckline, and a single snap closure.

Description: Vest of blue, red and white leather suede. The blue body of the vest has star-shaped cut-outs, revealing the white lining. Floor-length red fringe hangs from the body of the vest. Center front opening. Jacket is completely covered in vertical lines of clear/ mirror rhinestones. Lined in black silk. Jacket has combined Designer's/Retailer's label at center back neckline: "Norman Norell for Bonwit Teller"

Man's Coat

Description: Man's coat of chocolate brown polyurethane. Trench coat style, double-breasted with 7 (1 missing) circular gold-tone buttons with centers of self. Convertible collar with large lapel and smaller, matching button. Epaulets at shoulders. Vertical slotted pockets with 1-1/2" welt. Long vent down center back closes with single, hidden button. Lined in olive green synthetic fiber fabric. Inner zipper for lining, now missing. With matching belt with brown, rectangular buckle. Brand (?) label inside: "Dimension IV"
