Extremely narrow foundation skirt in "Hobble Skirt" style, with pleated overskirt caught up underneath. The front is decorated with cord decoration, the back is plain. No label found, attrib from Donor's description.

A-line which gathers slightly into 2-1/2" wide waistband. Left side zipper with hook-and-loop at waistband. Lined in dark blue nylon(?). Combined Designer's/Retailer's label sewn to inside of outer layer of skirt, hidden beneath lining layer: "Norman Norell for Nan Duskin" Maker's label, handwritten cream ribbon, sewn inside lining: "3055 - 711 - 14 - 136"

- Dress and jacket. A: Dress of color blocked polyester/cotton blend; at front, tan brown bodice, red skirt, vertical bands of black at sides, and horizontal band of black at waist. At back, black bodice and red skirt. Sleeveless; center back zipper closure. Interior lining of black polyester. B: Jacket of red polyester/cotton blend. Collared, long sleeves with three-inch cuffs. Center front closure with three round red buttons of self and hidden snaps. Attached short belt at waistline ties into an short knot attached to the jacket at center back.

- Top of black. Round neckline; short, dolman kimono sleeves that drape upward from bottom and twist around center of neckline. Cropped length; vertical seam at center back.

- Trench coat of sheer black silk organza. Below-knee length; Peter Pan collar with lapels; long sleeves. Snap closure at center and left waistline, flap pockets at front left and right. Flap across back. No lining.

- Evening top of black velvet with black border at top and bottom. Sleeveless; scalloped edges at neckline; zipper with hook-and-eye closure at left side with black bow at base of zipper. Attached interior corset of black with zipper at center back with bar-and-hook closure at bottom of zipper.

- Jacket of black velvet with continuous, two-inch black satin border along edges of body; collarless; no closure. Fingertip-length; long, wide sleeves with one-inch black satin cuffs similar to border. Left and right front sides of jacket naturally overlap at center, curving from top of jacket through to the bottom so that the front of the jacket is slightly shorter than the back. Horizontal stitching in two-inch panels creates quilted texture. Black lining; padded shoulders; large interior armholes ending right above natural waist; large interior pockets at left and right follow shape of garment, beginning at about waist-height.

- Top of black cotton. V neckline in front with ruched keyhole at base in rounded yoke sweeps across the top of both sleeves on front and back. At base of yoke on center back there is a circul ruched keyhole that ties at the top; the back is open from the top of this hole to hook-and-eye closure at center of rounded back neckline. Portion beneath yoke on both sides is thin ribbed knit. No lining.

- Knitted cardigan coat
- A) Evening coat of polyester and metallic polyester knit in diamond motif. Full length; collarless; center front opening with no closure. Long set in sleeves; patch pockets at sides below hips. Unlined. B) Rolled tie belt of matching material; 69" long.
- Bomber coat
- Varsity-style bomber jacket of navy wool/linen blend with quilted sleeves of linen. Ribbed standing collar, cuffs and hem are navy with middle stripe of tan. Angled welt pockets at sides; ivory satin thread embroidered crest at left breast and large crest on back. Center front zipper closure with two slides. Lined in black synthetic.
