Description: Woman’s shoe of white patterned silk with pleated ruffle on vamp and metal embroidery at toe. Pointed toe, silk binding hand stitched around opening, kitten/Louis heel with wooden(?) support, sole of leather undifferentiated for left/right foot.

B) Waistcoat of tan silk matching lining of coat with matching embroidery. Small embroidered covered buttons. Backed in linen. C) Breeches with matching embroidery at lower bands.

Description: Court coat of medium blue and off white striped silk satin with floral embroidery. Knee-length, long sleeves, high standing collar, long vent at center back. Embroidery in silk threads in shades of pink, yellow, brown, white, and green with medium and small scale floral motifs repeating at the collar, center front opening, on and around the side pocket and flaps, center back vent, and wide sleeve cuffs. Purse

Description: Purse of multicolored Bargello needlepoint. The envelope-style purse is covered in silk embroidery in greens, blues, reds, pinks, black, etc., in the Florentine Bargello, edged in green wool. On one side, under flap, is rectangular section with monogram FH and date 1775 worked in embroidery. Opens to reveal 2 separate compartments, lined in green homespun wool. Silk embroidery is disintegrating to reveal canvas ground.
