Cloche Hat
Cloche style hat of rust colored fur felt. Black velvet trim with self-covered button on left side of crown. Lower edge of inside crown trimmed with black velvet. Unlined with black grosgrain headband. Retailer's label on inside hatband: "The Halle Bros. Co." Inside crown stamped: "Musketeer / Imported Body / Made in Austria" Size tag on inside hatband: "22"
Hat
Hat of faux fur (Jaguar?). Constructed on a felt base, the conical crown has a flattened top, and is encircled by a wide band of black grosgrain ribbon. At front of hat ribbon is tied into a bow, and enhanced with a rhinestone-set spherical ornament. The wide brim curves down steeply. The hat is unlined, showing felt base, and has a black grosgrain ribbon inner hatband. Stamped inside the crown: "Imported Body / Made in Austria"
Evening Slippers
Evening slippers or pumps of gold kid leather with inset panels of metallic gold brocade. Designed with gently pointed toe, the pumps have a low-cut plain gold kid leather vamp with curved upper edge and thin band of inset brocade which sweeps to side and widens out into large panels. Side panels, ankle strap, and back upper heel all of plain gold kid leather. Ankle straps fasten at side with single amber-colored rhinestone stud buttons. The 2" high modified French heel is covered in plain gold kid leather. Retailer's stamp inside both shoes: "Lord & Taylor / New York" Embossed on sole of each shoe: "5158 / 28 / Made / In / Austria / 6 / AA" Stamped inside shoes: "6AA"
Man's Suit
Man's suit of black wool.
Evening dress
Evening gown of black chiffon and crystals. Full-length; strapless with padded velvet band around bodice, slightly shaped. Over bust area is a wide band of applied tiny crystals in a scrolling/foliate pattern. Center back zipper on lining, snaps on outer dress and hook & eyes on velvet band. Inner silk sheath lining, boning in bust with internal petersham. Designer's (?) label at inside back: “Trixi Becker / Boutique Wieni.” Care label with pictograms.
