Hat

Description: Hat of royal blue velour. The crown is somewhat domed, of pieced velour, with a band of rolled dark blue satin around the base. The wide brim of matching velour is shaped to dip down and turn up slightly around the crown. The hat is unlined, with a band of dark blue grosgrain ribbon sewn in between the inner edge of the crown and the brim. Designer's label sewn inside: "Rose Descat / Paris", with a second label sewn to lower edge of designer's: "Made In France".

Golden Gate Bridge

Description: The view is from the bridge and cars as well as pedestrians are shown. One of the vertical towers is clearly shown as are the many suspension cables running the length of the bridge.

Description: Day hat with navy wool felt crown and pleated creme wool brim. Underside of brim trimmed in navy covered wire with wired bow at front on upturned brim. Hatpin with black felt covered head. Retailer's label on inside hatband: "Made to Order Hat / Bergdorf / Goodman / Fifth Ave. at 58th St."

Description: Hat of wheat colored straw with small brim turned up in back. Crown creased across top. Grosgrain pear green colored ribbon trims crown and forms bow in back. Lacquered canary used at trim. Elastic band for securing hat to wearer's head. Unlined.

Girl's Dress

Description: Girl's dress of French white silk with red, blue, green and orange handwork in window pane style design. Double breasted with closure of four interior snaps with four non-functioning concave glass buttons. Short sleeves with 3/4" cuffs. Scalloped collar, hem of sleeve cuffs, high waist and opening of dress piped in coral orange silk. Unlined.

Evening dress

Description: Evening dress of matelassé ivory rayon. Bias cut. High waist with starburst shaped tucks between breasts and where waist joins skirt. Deep U-shaped neckline with halter straps around back of neck and forming bands under the arms; shoulder straps. Center back closure of self-covered buttons and loops. Full length with slight train.
