The brooch is to be worn on the shoulder and is in the form of an attic vent. The piece spins.
Battlefield
The two paper pieces consists of many layers, hang on the wall and protrude into the space. These pieces were included in the exhibition From Here to There: Practice, Form, and Meaning, May 22 - August 4, 2012.
Black Growth
This head piece was created using mylar removed from floppy disks that were individually machine stitched into form, then hand sewn to create the overall look.
Child's Dress
Tunic-style dress for a child. Of off-white cotton with an intricate floral motif print in various shades of greens and pinks outlined in a thin line of grey; yoke with shirring at center-back and pin pleats below yoke at center-front; 1” straps with tiny floral print of pinks; yoke is lined in off-white cotton and dress has attached under-layer with 1 ½” hem that matches print on straps; A-line silhouette.

Evening Coat
Evening coat of blue French silk brocade which has been hand beaded and embroidered with clear, silver, opalescent and pale blue beads and sequins matching original brocade pattern. High, standing collar, somewhat as a modified cowl. Mid-length sleeves are trimmed in natural Russian golden sable. Front opening, slightly to left of center, secured with three hidden snaps, including two in collar, curved lower edges where opening flaps meet. Lined in silk taffeta. Designer's label at inside center back: "Michael / Faircloth"
