Beach ensemble consisting of bikini and coverup. The bikini top and bottom are of jersey printed with a modern art design of greens, pink and red stripes. Top has ties that go up and behind neck, and bands that reach around to back and secure with metal clasp. At front, between the cups along top edge is a non-functional tie made of piping made from the jersey material. Bikini bottom is low-cut. The coverup is of light chiffon, possibly silk, with swirling stripes in the same pattern as bikini. It is sleeveless, has a boat neckline, and rounded hemline. Very fine yellow straw calot crown. Breton hat with rolled upwards brim; Silk chiffon scarf encircles hatband, knotted at center back and cascades down back.
Hat of brown toile. Crisp, sharply square edged brim; tall, stiff crown fastened underneath to look slighlty crushed; otherwise tall, straight sides; 5/8" self hatband; stiff downward brim with 5/8" topstitching. Measurements: Side to Side: 32 cm. Front to Back: 34 cm. Height: 15 cm.

Hat of light navy blue felt. Brimless, the hat has a domed crown, sloping gently at front and more steeply at back, with slight "under-cut" at back and back of sides. The edges of the hat extend under and back towards crown, creating a "under brim", which gives the illusion that the hat is "floating" above the wearer's head. Hat is unlined, with inner black grosgrain ribbon hatband, and a short length of grosgrain ribbon across inside front of crown to help hat keep its shape. No labels.
Hat of cobra skin. The hat is designed with a cylindrical crown, flattened at top, encircled by a narrow hatband of same snake skin. The circular brim slopes downwards. The underside of the brim is lined in cobra, while the crown is lined in brown fabric, and has a black grosgrain ribbon inner hatband.
