This queen sized bedspread, screen printed on cotton velvet, was created while Spear studied at Cranbrook Art Academy in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The bedspread gradates from purples to blues with long wave shapes in a pale yellow gold color.
This almost square artwork begins with a light brown background and in the center a large pale blue sphere of concentric light blue circles and on the interior of the open sphere are light brown concentric circles and out of the ball shape seem to fly several sheets of paper.
The painting has a background of the Los Angeles Yellow Pages cover with various objects such as buildings, helicopters, ladders, people, soldiers, horses, ships, and planes painted in hues of gold, red, blue, purple, brown, and green.
