Terrestrial herpetofauna of Limnos and Agios Efstratios (Northern Aegean, Greece), including new species records for Malpolon insignitus (Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire, 1827) and Pelobates syriacus Boettger, 1889

Description: This article presents herpetofaunal observations from Limnos and Agios Efstratios, two Asia Minor continental shelf islands in the Aegean Sea. Comprehensive surveys over 88 days in total on Limnos, over a period of nine years, consisted mainly of visual encounter surveys and road cruised observations, revealed the presence of three species of amphibians and twelve species of reptiles, including two new species records for the island (Malpolon insignitus and Pelobates syriacus). Some numerical analyses on the solubility of vanillin in Carbitol® + water solvent mixtures

Description: This article reports solubility values of vanillin (component 3) in 2-(2-ethoxyethoxy)ethanol (Carbitol®, component 1) + water (component 2) mixtures at five temperatures from 298.15 to 318.15 K correlated with the Jouyban-Acree model combined with van't Hoff or Apelblat equations, and obtains models in second degree regarding the mixtures compositions.

Influence of Bath Composition at Acidic pH on Electrodeposition of Nickel-Layered Silicate Nanocomposites for Corrosion Protection
