Description: Commencement program for the May 1917 graduating class of North Texas State College. The program is a plain sheet of cardstock. Description: An envelope originally sent by L. B. Price Mercantile Co. to Linnet (Mrs. Claude D.) White, post marked in Fort Worth, Texas, on September 8, 1917. White then reused the envelope to contact the sender, causing the second post mark from Kansas City, Missouri, on September 12, 1917. The stamp has been removed.

Description: Envelope from M. C. Elliott at 3335 [Montgall] Ave., Kansas City, Missouri to Linnet White, addressed as Mrs. Claude D. White in Denver, Colorado. It is postmarked Kansas City, Missouri August 17, 1917, and the date Aug 28 is also stamped on the front. The return address is written on the back, along with some other handwritten notes. The right edge of the envelope has been torn.

Description: Letter to Claude, Linnet, and Ruth White from Charles and Lula Watkins. Charles writes of his sympathies for the passing of Linnet's mother and reflects on the help he received from Linnet's parents when he came to Texas in 1880. Lula writes of how she wants the Whites to visit them when they come to the area.
