Effects of Frustration Tolerance Training on Young Institutionalized Retarded Children

Description: The major problem investigated was to ascertain the extent to which a training program designed specifically to increase frustration tolerance would reduce selected behavioral problems in institutionalized mentally retarded children. Of lesser importance was the problem of examining the extent to which the prescribed training program had differential effects on brain-injured and non-brain-injured retarded children.

The Effect of Chlorpromazine on Avoidance Learning in Rats

Description: In this experiment it was hypothesized the (a) those organisms trained under the influence of chlorpromazine will perform a learned task (when tested) with more incorrect responses than a comparable group trained under "normal" conditions; (b) those organisms tested under the influence of chlorpromazine will perform a previously learned task with more incorrect responses than a comparable group of organisms tested under "normal" conditions.

The Goodenough Draw-A-Man Test as a Measure of Interpersonal Adjustment

Relationship of the Content of Dreams to Personal Conflicts

Description: This study will endeavor to substantiate the theory that dreaming serves the function of trying to handle conflicts met by the individual during waking life, but not resolved at the time. In order to do this, several hypotheses will be advanced concerning the different observable content of dreams of two different populations. A relationship will be drawn between this difference in content and the known difference in the types of conflicts common to each of the populations.
