A Study of the Arthurian Legends as Treated by Tennyson, Arnold, and Robinson

Description: In studying the early history of the legends, the author have found that it could be divided into three periods: 1) the period of origins, 2) the period of literary creation, and 3) the period of translation and adaptation. The last period may be said to have never reached a conclusion, for writers of many nations are still finding in the ancient legends material for poem and song.
