The Need for Co-Operation Among Independent Food Retailers of Denton, Texas

Description: It has become more and more evident that independent food retailers must co-ordinate their individual efforts if they are to gain an operating efficiency paralleling that of the corporate multiple-unit or chain system. Such co-ordination largely has taken three courses: (1) group buying clubs, (2) wholesale- sponsored voluntary chains, and (3) retailer-owned co-operative warehouses. It is the last of these that this study suggests as the most appropriate course for Denton independent retailers.

These two educational agencies have proved that adult education can be very successful. The Analysis of the Demand for Residential Water in the City of Denton

The data used for the study are obtained from the City of Denton Utilities Department, the Tax Appraisal District and government documents. The 121 households which have perfect ten years historical data of water consumption were selected to be the representatives of all households in Denton. Estimating Residential Water Demand: a Case of Multiple-Part Tariff for Denton, Texas
