Appendix D: LOCKSSBAGGER Tool

Description: This is an appendix to the MetaArchive Final Report. This appendix document describes tools. These tools are designed to facilitate the transfer of data contained within a number of LOCKSS archival units and packaged into bags. The bags are then transferred to the iRODS grid. The user has the option of creating and sending filled bags, or holey bags. The primary tools are written in Python, and make use of the iRODS command line utilities for data transfer.
