A Census of Game Collections in Libraries: Final Report

Description: This report documents the Census of Game Collections in Libraries project funded by the Dean's Innovation Grant. The project set out to collect data on games in libraries' collection, house the data in the UNT repository to make it available to anyone, and establish a process to complete more in the future. The final report briefly describes the project scope, activities, budget, outcomes, best practices, and project continuity.

Enhancing the Discovery of Tabletop Games

Description: Collections of three-dimensional materials may not be discoverable to library users if they lack adequate metadata. Discovery of these collections may be enhanced through the application of relevant cataloging standards and con-trolled vocabularies. This paper outlines how librarians at the University of North Texas Libraries used these strategies to increase access to a large collection of tabletop games.
