Cross-Language Comparison of Mismatched Annotation in Interlinear-Glossed Texts

Description: This presentation explores the variation in interlinear-glossed text (IGT) in 5 closely related South-Central Tibeto-Burman languages with verb stem alternation, reduplicated adverbial modifiers, and pre-verbal directionals. Unraveling the complexity of selected adverse neonatal outcomes in India: a multilevel analysis using data from a nationally representative sample survey

Description: Article examines the prevalence and determinants of adverse neonatal outcomes in India, specifically preterm birth, low birth weight, and early neonatal death, using multilevel analysis of the 2019–21 National Family Health Survey. Findings show that higher maternal education, antenatal care, and birth‑preparedness knowledge reduce risk, while barriers to medical care, poverty, and unintended pregnancies significantly increase the likelihood of adverse outcomes.
