On the Existence and Uniqueness of Solutions of Two Differential Equations

Description: The purpose of this paper is to study two differential equations. A method of approximation by iteration is used to define sequences of functions which converge to solutions of these equations. Some properties of the solutions are proved for general boundary conditions and certain special solutions are studied in detail.

Probation and Constitutional Protection

That relationship is not a clear one because traditional protections of individual rights focus on the person accused of a crime while probation focuses attention on the convicted defendant. The Significance of Animals in the Life and Writings of Lord Byron

Description: It is the purpose of this research to explore the role that animals played in both the life and writings of Lord Byron. The first areas of concentration are on the specific examples of Byron's affection for animals and on the psychological aspects of this love. Secondly, the thesis attempts to explore the symbolic importance of animals in relation to Byron and his works. Finally, the research is focused on Byron's concepts and ideas, which he frequently illustrated and clarified by animal symbolism.

A Case Study of Union Organizing Strategies

Description: The purpose of this paper is to present a case study of a union organizational campaign among a group of women garment workers. The union that conducted the organizing drive was the International Ladies' Garment Worker's Union. The employees involved in the campaign were employed by the Russell-Newman Manufacturing Company in the North Texas community of Denton.
