Description: The problem of this investigation was to compare the linguistic competence of learning disabled and emotionally disturbed pupils by means of two performance tasks. The Effects of a Classroom Social Skills Training Program on Socially Maladaptive Learning Disabled Elementary Students

Description: This study examined the effectiveness of the Human Resource Development model of classroom social skills with intermediate elementary learning disabled children. Metaphoric Competence of Learning Disabled and Normally Achieving Children

Description: Metaphorlc competence of learning disabled and normally achieving fifth and seventh grade male children was Investigated. Four measures were made of metaphorlc abilities. The first task was a multiple choice written test to determine the rate of metaphorlc preference. Part two consisted of children developing metaphors. Part three and four required explanations of the meaning of preferred metaphors and produced metaphors.
