Description: Woman’s shoe of white leather with removable plackets. A) Shoe with pointed toe, tongue with scalloped edge, machine stitching down center front. Tabs across upper vamp with buttons at sides (one button missing). Cuban heel, sole shaped for right foot, made of leather attached with nails on heel. Uchikake

Description: Wedding uchikake (padded hem kimono) of ecru rinzu (silk patterned like damask) background with embroidered ume and branch (plum blossoms) designs in metallic gold and silk green, orange, and yellow threads in the foreground. Partially lined in orange silk of two different colors. Hand-sewn. Padding is found through out garment - thickest remaining layers at hem, wrist-opening of sleeve and front collar panel.
