Description: Daytime coat dress. a) Coat dress of red/orange gaberdine wool. Single breasted with 7 mother-of-pearl buttons in circular gold-tone mounts with bound buttonholes. Above knee length. Jewel neckline. Neckline and right side of opening are of navy gaberdine wool. Long, set in sleeves having cuffs of navy gaberdine wool with two smaller matching buttons and bound buttonholes. Two large patch pockets at left and right are also trimmed with matching navy bands across tops of pockets. Lined in red silk crepe. Description: Two-piece suit of dark orange knit. A) Jacket of dark orange wool gaberdine. Double-breasted with princess seaming and a large cape collar. The full-length straight sleeves each have three circular black buttons and bound buttonholes. The opening at front has two vertical rows of 4 black circular buttons and a hidden snap closure at upper right. Attached to the jacket are four black patent leather belt carriers to support the accompanying thin black patent leather belt. Fully lined in black silk satin fabric. Description: Shift day dress of oatmeal crochet knit wool. The mid-length dress is of a seed-stitch knit with Peter Pan collar and short sleeves. The collar, upper lapel edge and sleeves are finished with a single stitch crochet binding/edging. Double-breasted with ten self-covered circular buttons arranged in two vertical rows of five each. Dress opens along left vertical row with a single snap and a single small hidden button and loop to secure upper left of panel under collar. Unlined. Black band inside lower hem.
