Center back opening, with 5 large circular wine red plastic buttons, a hook-and-eye at waist, two hidden snaps at neckline, and two hidden snaps below waist. Fully lined in red silk. Designer's label: "Norman Norell / New York" B) Under-bodice of wine red silk and wine red linen. Cropped bodice of silk with low, rounded neckline, and center front opening with 5 hook-and-eyes. Note: Outer dress can be worn with or without under-bodice, giving the dress the appearance of being either sleeved or sleeveless.

Evening ensemble of heavy pink Alaskine silk/wool blend, consisting of a jacket and dress. The jacket is a cropped, bolero style, with rounded neckline and short sleeves. It has a center front opening with single hook-and-eye at throat. The sleeves, neckline, opening, and hem are edged in band of pink and crystal beads and rhinestones. Scattered over the surface of the jacket are clusters of pearl, crystal, and silvered beads. The matching dress is full-length, with an Empire waist. It is sleeveless, with very slight scoop at front neckline, and a deep rounded scoop to mid-back at back.The straps are heavily beaded with pink and crystal beads and rhinestones. The 4-gore A-line skirt gathers slightly into bodice. The dress has an inner pink nylon(?) sheath lining. Complete "Geisha" traditional Japanese women's ensemble, of the Kyoto style. The complete ensemble includes various under garments and accessories not seen in images, as well as primary components: Kimono - Salmon colored polyester outer garment with woven geometric design ground decorated with cherry blossoms, mums, and other flowers. Applique of flowers across back of neck/right shoulders. Hand sewn, this is a "Spring" kimono.; Obi of white, silver, and orange brocade; Sash of pink and white shibori; Obi Jimi braided orange cord belt to tie around obi; Tabi socks; Geta sandals (not in images); Fan, and traditional wig, embellished with artificial flowers.
Tun Chapan ensemble
a) Tun Chapan (robe). Silk robe of ikat in reds, yellows, purples, and white. Mid- or longer length. Collarless. Long sleeves. Opens at front, with no closure. Neckline edged with a pink/purple band with over-stitching in dark blue of diamond design. Neckline, opening, cuffs, and hem edged with thin black band ornamented with white over-stitching in ovals/diamonds. Inner thick padded for winter, torso lined with red cotton cloth printed with multi-colored stylized floral designs, sleeves lined with yellow cotton fabric printed with white and reddish pattern of small blossoms and groups of circles arranged in a diamond shape. Ikat design of robe is of vertical stripes, with sections of thin yellow, blue, and red stripes that are primarily "solid" alternating with wide vertical stripes of red and purple which display the white ikat motifs in white. No labels in garment.
