Sweater

Description: Sweater of horizontal stripes of aqua blues cotton knit. V-neck of dark aqua 1" wide ribbed knit. Long sleeves with four bands attached to each other with open weave of dark blue, top band is dark blue, middle band is slightly lighter blue, and final two bands are lightest shade of blue. Torso constructed similar to sleeves, with dark blue panel across top of shoulders, slightly lighter blue across upper chest and back, lightest blue across bust and then from bust line to bottom hem. Coat Dress

Description: Coat dress of black wool knit. Mid-calf length. Open, short collar with points trimmed with bullet-shaped silver metal accents; V-neckline. Long sleeves have seams sewn flat to form ridge along top of sleeve, with turned back cuffs forming "wings" trimmed with two shield-shaped metal studs. Slit up 6 inches from hem at center front seam. Description: Suit of cream silk gaberdine(?) consisting of: A) Jacket. Hip-length; box style. Bermuda collar and yoke which covers jacket front top, makes into epaulet-like treatment at shoulder, and sailor-like collar in back; geometrically shaped with white snaps at corners. Center front of jacket fastens all the way down with white snaps. Full-length dolman sleeves. Back has center seam and two darts which start 2 1/2 inches under yoke and extend to waist. Ball Gown

Description: Ball gown of pink silk taffeta. The off-the-shoulder design has several layers of cream colored Chantilly lace around the neckline/shoulder edge. The dress itself is of bright fuchsia pink silk taffeta with ties over each arm. The bodice is seamed and fitted, with a left side seam zipper. The attached matching taffeta skirt is gathered and draped horizontally, and has several layers of Chantilly lace at hem. The skirt has three hoops under the lining.

Purse

Description: Handbag of glass beads of boldly colored shades of green, yellow, red, blue, pink and black in a somewhat stylized floral design. Bronze frame cast with floral forms and openwork, and set with navy blue and green cabochons. Roses on frame have remains of applied coloration. Suspension chain in rope form with spaced clusters of green and blue beads. Bag has looped and twisted fringe at bottom composed of green and black faceted beads. Pink satin lining, mostly deteriorated. Ball and socket filigree closure.

Gloves

Description: Pair of gloves of kid skin leather; off-white; just below wrist length; single snap fastenings at wrist. On back of each glove, running length-wise down hand are three embroidered bands, pink and blue chevrons in diamond formation on dark blue bands. Cuffs from wrist to end are lined with black silk heavily embroidered with floral motifs in blue, pinks, reds, whites, greens, etc. in chain-stitch. Remainder of glove is unlined. Stamped inside glove: "Modèle déposé [Fr-En: Registered Design] / Paris" and "6" and part of other marks. Metal parts of the snaps have what appear to be Chinese/Japanese characters stamped into them.

Description: Pair of women's sandals of silver metallic leather. Designed as "gladiator style" sandals, with six narrow silver leather criss-crossed or interwoven straps at front over vamp, and six more similar straps extending around ankle and originating from vertical band at heel. 5" zipper along heel band. Designer's label on both sides of sole: "Barbara Bui" Impressed on underside of sole: "Made in Spain" and "40". Attached sticker under sole showing pictograms indicating which parts of shoe are leather.
