Child's dress
Child's sundress of off-white cotton with an intricate floral motif print in various shades of greens and pinks outlined in a thin line of grey. Yoke with shirring at center back and pin pleats below yoke at center front; 1” straps with tiny floral print of pinks. Yoke is lined in off-white cotton and dress has attached under-layer with 1 ½” hem that matches print on straps. A-line silhouette. Size small (fits 6-7 year old child).
Flats
T-Strap style flats of black leather with Rockstud pyramid-shaped gunmetal-tone stud accents outlining straps and upper. Pointed toe. Gladiator strap across vamp; oval shaped buckles on ankle and instep straps. Black leather soles and insole. Stamp on interior quarter of left shoe: "P O 376 1 38".
Shoes
Gladiator style Rockstud sandals of mauve leather with gold-tone pyramid shape studs. Oval toe; 3 1/2" spike heels. Zipper closure at heel with matching leather pull tab. Brown lather insoles end in straight line at toe.
Sneakers
Sneakers of white leather trimmed across the upper with green and red twill. Tongue has green and red grosgrain pull tab. Heel trimmed in crossing green reptile skin loops. Shoes
Platform clogs of navy peau de soie with white swallow motif. Wooden platform sole with 4 1/2" wooden chunky heel; heel and sole capped in dark brown rubber. Body of upper trimmed in gold studded white leather. Pink leather sole with white running topstitch.
Evening dress
Evening/wedding(?) dress of ivory matelassé. Strapless, fitted, dropped waist, floor length full skirt. Corset built into top. Center back zipper; lined in ivory. Designer's label: "Alexander McQueen / Made in Italy"
Evening coat
Evening coat of blue French silk brocade which has been hand beaded and embroidered with clear, silver, opalescent and pale blue beads and sequins matching original brocade pattern. High, standing collar, somewhat as a modified cowl. Mid-length sleeves are trimmed in natural Russian golden sable. Front opening, slightly to left of center, secured with three hidden snaps, including two in collar, curved lower edges where opening flaps meet. Lined in silk taffeta. Designer's label at inside center back: "Michael / Faircloth"
Patterned blouse
Blouse of pieced silk styled with shoulders of rust crepe silk, bottom half of sleeves of black silk; front side panels of white satin, and top of sleeves, back panel and center front trapezoidal panel of rust crepe embroidered in satin thread phoenix motif. Wide rounded neckline; short sleeves.
Velvet and silk ensemble

From Scoular Hall to Welch Street Complex I
A short video combining still and motion footage documenting the move of the Texas Fashion Collection from Scoular Hall to the Welch Street Complex I. The video includes footage of the new site being cleared after demolition of the Church of Christ, construction of the Texas Fashion Collection section of the new facility, the arrival and placement of the modular sections, and general preparation of the new facility. Activities include inventory work, packing materials and preparing racks of garments for the move, of wrapped racks being loaded on and unloaded from trucks, and items being unloaded in the new facility. Still footage of packed areas of Scoular and new classrooms in Welch Street I are also included.
RAG Ladies visit the Texas Fashion Collection, November 21, 2013
Video of 5 members of the RAG Ladies (Retired Apparel Group) visiting the Texas Fashion Collection on November 21, 2013 at the new facility at 405 S. Welch St., Denton, Texas, on the campus of the University of North Texas. The ladies were interviewed by Myra Walker, Curator of the TFC, about their lives in the world of fashion and the apparel industry, and their roles in bring the Dallas Museum of Fashion to UNT. The ladies interviewed were: Jacque Prager, Frances Maloney, Nan Alexander, Naomie Rudelson, and Mary Beth Hoeffner.

Sheer ivory silk asymmetrical tank dress in bias cut slip dress style with V-neck and self-fabric spaghetti straps. Front is mid-thigh length, back is train length split into tails with side openings to access pockets underneath. Dress is constructed of pieced ivory fabrics including silk crepe, silk georgette, silk habotai and lace; georgette hem is left raw. Designer's label: "Haider Ackermann"

Victor Costa
Short documentary on fashion designer Victor Costa. Created on the occasion of Mr. Costa receiving the Legend's Award of the University of Houston's College of Technology in November 2015, the video includes archival still and motion images, interviews with Victor Costa, Robert Sakowitz, Roz Pactor, and Jerry Ann Woodfin Costa. Discusses his early life in Houston, education, and work as a fashion designer. Footage includes early interviews and fashion shows.
Coat and cape
A) Coat of black wool/cashmere blend. Single breasted, large notched lapels, in the car/pant/suburban style. B) Decorative overlay is made of bright red cotton/polyester blend. Coat sleeves fit in supportive arm holes that are connected by support structure fabric across the back of shoulders. Long ribbons connect to armseye and support layers and flow down past length of coat. Flowers of the same material but variations in color are attached to ribbons. Red overlay should be tied close so that most of the coat is covered. Designer's label: "Comme des Garçons"

Dress (full body ensemble) of black nylon, polyester, silk and cotton fabrics.
"Thunderbird" dress
Dress of turquoise satin with metallic silver vinyl trim at sweetheart neckline and plastic car “tail-light” accents at sides. Draping across bodice to accent sweetheart neckline. Strapless, calf-length. B) Matching turquoise and silver tulle very full petticoat. Petticoat should be visible below hem of dress. Designer's label: "Moschino / Couture!"
Pussy hat
Pussy hat that forms "cat ears" when worn, made of pink yarn knitted in stockinette stitch with a ribbed brim.
Beaded coat
Sweatsuit-inspired beaded bomber or sukajan jacket. Jacket is styled with ribbed standing collar, lower raglan sleeves and hem of gray fleece resembling a sweat jacket with main body of gold metallic fabric heavily beaded in iridescent green/blue and purple bugle and seed beads. Beading is of two phoenixes on left and right front sides and Chinese dragon on back. Center front zipper closure with two slides. Lined in black crepe.
"Aloha" jacket
Man's "Aloha" sports jacket of black cotton with collar and inserted front panels of hibiscus flower printed cotton. "Y-3" logo incorporated into hibiscus floral printed fabric. Single breasted with notched lapel. Long suit sleeves with hibiscus print fabric on top of right sleeve. Patch pockets at sides match fabric of corresponding front panel; vertical zippered pocket at seams of front panels. Center back vent is machine embroidered with Y-3 logo. Partially lined in black net.
