Organdy sundress

Description: Toddler's sundress of pink lightweight organdy. Knee length; apron style with two inch wide straps; front buttons with four buttons; ruffled ivory lace down center front and at top of each side of front bodice. Top of front bodice has each side rounded like an arch. Two inch wide waist band; belt attached at side seams and ties in back. Gathered full skirt; five inch hem. Tiny rounded patch pocket on right side of skirt has ruffled lace trim.

Dress

Description: Cocktail or Evening Dress. The mid-length dress has a pink crepe under-dress/slip which is overlaid with a black net sheath embellished with lavish black bead-work in the forms of rose-heads forming a trellis and fan-shapes in the openings of the trellis. Ensemble

Description: Ensemble. Made from a Japanese Kimono of orange silk with red, cream, and black Ikat design of elongated hexagons. A) Jacket. Formed of upper part of kimono, with Short band collar and wide kimono sleeves. Lined in red. Label sewn inside at collar: "Ryu-Bi Style / Kimono Suite / Made in Tokyo" B) (Not pictured) Skirt. Geta sandals

Description: Pair of Geta. The sandals are straight last, with thick white plastic soles, having horizontal bands of orange in two shades. Orange and white straps to fit between toe and back to sides of foot. One with paper label on reverse. Came with original plastic bag with printing and snap closure.

Jobawi

Description: Traditional jobawi Korean hat to be worn by a child when in a hanbok. Formed of two basically oval panels with extending "tabs", sewn together for part of one end and along "tabs", with most of hat "open". Exterior of black damask with very faint black Korean(?) characters and symbols. Interior of rich royal/electric blue damask with floral motifs. At top and at base of "tabs" are purple cording knots and tassels, and connecting string. No labels. Measurements flat: 9" x 11".

Shirt

Description: Shirt of red rayon, designed as a kimono. Black band at front opening and around neckline, with white Japanese characters printed on upper section at front. The kimono has a scene of a procession by children in traditional Japanese clothing, one on horseback. At upper back is a circular printed Mon in blue and white of a trefoil leaf form. Unlined. May be a child's kimono rather than a youth's shirt.

Toddler's sundress

Description: Girl's/toddler's sundress of white organdy. Straps are 3" wide with pale blue organdy ruffle trim on each side; top of bodice has blue organdy ruffled trim; below ruffle, bodice is smocked in darker blue, yellow, green and red with a cross-stitched embroidered scene of a yellow and red house with green trees. 4" wide hem is scalloped at top. Belt attached at side seams ties in back; one belt loop on back. Closure of two buttons at back from neck to mid-back. Label: Hand Made / in Philipines

Uchikake

Description: Wedding uchikake (padded hemmed kimono) of pink and white polyester(?) lined in red silk. Embroidered with large chrysanthemum and sakura (cherry blossoms) in pink, white, silver, red and with large cranes in flight in red, white, and gold with blue crowns.

Uchikake

Description: Wedding uchikake (padded hem kimono) of white polyester with large silver embroidery cranes, silver metallic thread lining, which shows at bottom hem, which is padded. Cranes in flight indicate younger bride, Long sleeves, indicating youth. Metallic lining is very modern, likely to have been made for tourist market. Corners of front retain protective covers which are taken off when worn.
