Wedding shoes

Description: Wedding shoes of off-white or champagne satin. The shoes have rounded toes, and no ornamentation. The medium-high heel is set under, is rounded at back and sides and curved at front, tapers to center and then swells to base, and is covered with matching satin; it has the same natural brown colored leather on the heel's cap and on the soles of the shoes. Lace-up boots

Description: Pair of boots or "High Button Shoes" of gray/silver lamé cloth. The shoes, designed with pointed toes rounded at the tips, lace closed along center front with laces 18 holes high. The high heels are rounded at sides and back, tapering to center and flaring back out at base, and are curved at front. They are covered with the lamé fabric on the back and sides. White cotton petticoat

Description: Petticoat of white cotton. Full length, the narrow waistband secures with single hook-and-eye. Petticoat is gathered into waistband in fine pleats. Lower edge scalloped. Wide band at hem decorated with eyelet lace, white on white embroidery, and large cut-outs backed by fine white mesh.

Linen sunbonnet

Description: Sunbonnet of brown linen with pasteboard staves, crenelated buttoning crown and long tail; crown and tail are separate pieces, sewn together at neck seam; tail fastens to side of brim through 3 off-white buttons on each side; shape of tail is semi-circular; chin ties are narrow hemmed by hand; fabric is a plain weave with both white and brown threads. Measurements: 56 cm. from lowest point of tail to top of crown when laid flat; Brim is 20 cm. deep from outer edge to inner edge.

Description: Small grey hat with flat brim turned upward at front. Back adorned with flowers and yellow and grey silk ribbon with feathers. Rim is trimmed with small silver studs. Crown has sequined applique. Back has a bow and flowers.

Cotton petticoat

Description: Petticoat of white cotton batiste. Fitted at waist and bell shaped/flaired below knees ; slightly trained in back. Fine insertion lace in 2-1/2" waves for ribbon insertion. Many rows of narrow inserted lace, 4" band of white embroidery in leaf motif and lace edged hem.

Linen petticoat

Description: Petticoat of off-white linen. Full-length, with plain waistband with drawstring waist. Gathered into waist at sides and back, flat at front. Near Above hem are 4 horizontal pin-tucks. Below pin-tucks is wide added flounce of same material with embroidered hem with triangular "points". Embroidered initials at center front: "NHE" Described as a trousseau petticoat.

Description: Petticoat of heavy red wool trimmed with black wool braid. Yoke at waistline with shell button and drawstring of red wool twill tape. Hem is trimmed with a wide flounce with horizontal braid trimming and a smaller plated flounce at the foot.

Black silk corset

Description: Corset covered in black silk, constructed of 6 pieces. Front has 5 clasps, marked "FC Co." Each side has 41 bones of various widths and lengths. The back is laced with 13 eyelets with (now) brown laces. The bottom is finished with a straight silk binding, and the top is finished with a machine made eyelet edging. Folding fan

Description: Folding fan with mother of pearl sticks and guards. The leaf is of black Chantilly lace backed with cream satin. A small bail loop at base of fan has an off-white silk tassel hanging from it.
