Blouse with insert lace

Description: Blouse of white batiste cotton. Round neckline trimmed in lace. Lace insertion on front of openwork and pin tucks. Back is also openwork with lace, pin tucks and eyelet lace. 3/4 length sleeves with openwork and 1-1/2" lace cuffs. Center front opening with 11 pearl buttons and barred buttonholes.

Leather shoes

Description: Pair of shoes of white leather. Shoes have a pointed toe, and cut-back area on either side of vamp to create a shallow "tongue". At top of vamp is large decorative rectangular pewter buckle with openwork along sides. One buckle lacking. White leather covered 2 3/8" high modified Louis or cuban heel. Partly illegible numbers written inside shoe. L: 25.5 cm W: 7.5 cm H: 13 cm Heel: 6 cm / 2 3/8 in.

Chopine

Description: Antique chopine or clog hand carved of wood two inches high w/ top of platform decorated with mother of pearl inlay - three straps or thongs missing. Difficult to date, but came into style in Turkey and India in the 16th century.

Off-white petticoat

Description: Off-white petticoat with three bands of horizontal tucks and lace inserts, each 2" to 4" deep. Final tier 3 1/2" deep; scalloped at lower edge. 140" around lower edge. Waistband 3/4" wide and 25" long. Second layer attached from base of first tier.

Description: Bodice of white cotton voile printed with small pink flowers and tiny black dots; low rounded neck and short sleeves trimmed with 3 rows of heavy cording, back button fastening, gathered into a plain waistband.

Children's shoes

Description: Pair of children's shoes from China. Designed with straight last, rounded toe with small point at tip and at heel. Upper of pink/mauve brocade with Chinese symbols in yellow, green/gold, and white. Edged in dark blue around opening, and the panels bordered in black bands.
