Suede sportswear ensemble

Description: Ensemble. A: Green suede blouse, short, fitted, princess seams, cap sleeves, no collar, center front fastening with 10 buttons in groups of 5, and two hook & eye closures. Sewn-in shoulder pads. With designer label and NM Museum label. B: Skirt. Formed of alternating horizontal bands of tan, pumpkin, and green suede. Thin green suede waistband with two hook & eye closures, and zipper.

Description: Skirt suit of chocolate wool with velvet cuffs. A) Fitted jacket of chocolate wool in woven, checked pattern. Single breasted with 5 self covered buttons and bound buttonholes. Playsuit with bamboo pattern

Description: Two-piece playsuit ensemble: A) Playsuit of beige linen with yellow and brown printed bamboo design on neckline and cuffs of sleeves. Short sleeves; three bamboo cylindrical buttons as center front closure on bodice with zipper below waist on shorts portion of garment. B) Wrap around skirt of same fabric as playsuit. Single button to closure on waistband; button is missing.

Satin gown

Description: A) Evening gown of bright brown satin and black velvet with matching brassier. Form fitted bodice of brown satin narrows at waist and dips to a center front seam, where fabric is gathered and drapes down to full-length; black velvet skirt surrounds center front fabric and creates a fullness at hips. Description: A) Party dress of warp weave ivory satin in pink and blue rose motif. Sweetheart neckline is accented by a gathered bow motif in the bodice. Balerina length. Vertical release pleating on front of skirt with gored sections in back. Two-inch wide shoulder straps. Left side zipper closure. Bodice lined in taffeta. No labels. B) Matching contour belt with circular self-covered buckle.
