Description: Skort set of two piece black and white cotton; checked gingham. a) Blouse with turned down collar, sleeveless. Single breasted with 3 self-covered buttons. Bias piped buttonholes and hidden snaps. Designer's Label at right side seam: "EISA". b) Shorts gathered to 1/2" bias waistband. Folded at hemline and back to waistband. Hook and eyes on waistband with five snaps at center-front opening. Black 2" wide grosgrain sash sewn to center back waistband to tie in front.

Skirt suit

Description: Two-piece suit of brown, yellow, olive green and off-white plaid wool twill. a) Semi-fitted jacket of plaid wool. Notched collar and lapel. Bracelet length, two piece, set in sleeves. Double breasted front opening with six round, plastic, olive buttons and three bound buttonholes. One button closure hidden inside lap. Pair of faux pocket flaps on front below waist. Back has a low-slung, self-fabric belt buttoned on at princess seams. Fully lined in ecru silk. Handwritten maker's label at bottom left hem: "Sra : De / Osborne / 964" Handwritten maker's label above previous label: "7" b) Matching knee length, princess paneled skirt with rolled waistband of lining fabric. In-seam pockets at front princess seams. Deep box pleat at center front releases at hip level. Offset left side back zipper closure supplemented by two hook and eye closures at waistband. Folded hem. Fully lined in ecru silk with white silk faille waist support lightly boned with two hook and eye closures.

Description: Black alpaca wool two piece suit. a) Jacket has turn-down collar and lapel. Single-breasted with 3 buttons in passementerie. Two piped buttonholes, lower button sewn on right front side over hook & eye closure. 3/4 sleeves. Jacket extends to just below waistline. Lined in black silk. Designer's label removed. b) Knee-length flared skirt of black alpaca wool. Slightly gathered to 1 1/4" wide black taffeta waistband (with 5 hidden stays). Two angled welt pockets on either side of skirt front. Black 7" left side zipper. Lined in black silk.

Description: Two-piece black wool crepe dress. a) Blouse of black wool crepe with dolman shaped sleeves. No shoulder seams; top cut in one bias piece. Bateau neckline. Gussets at right and left waist sides extending over hips. Unlined. b) Knee-length straight skirt in same, slightly eased into piped waist-band. Metal zipper at left side with large hook & eye. Lined in black silk.

Ball Gown

Description: Ball gown of pink silk taffeta. The off-the-shoulder design has several layers of cream colored Chantilly lace around the neckline/shoulder edge. The dress itself is of bright fuchsia pink silk taffeta with ties over each arm. The bodice is seamed and fitted, with a left side seam zipper. The attached matching taffeta skirt is gathered and draped horizontally, and has several layers of Chantilly lace at hem. The skirt has three hoops under the lining.

Description: Gray suit dress with underskirt. a) Semi-fitted gray linen coat dress. Moderate rounded neckline with spread collar. 3/4 length, two piece set in sleeves. Lapped center front opening with twelve round gray plastic buttons and bound buttonholes. Princess seams square over to armhole and hip in front. Patch pockets at hip with folded flap. Back has a shoulder yoke and low-slung self fabric belt with two buttons and bound buttonholes. Folded hem. Lined to the waist in gray silk. Retailer's label on inside seam: "Balenciago (sic) / Spring 1955 Size 10" b) Matching straight skirt with waistband and hip yoke in gray silk. Left side zipper closure with two hook&eyes on waistband. Skirt back is wrapped. Folded hem. Unlined. Description: Cocktail gown of pearl gray peau de soie satin. Knee-length, with round neck and sleeveless. Underskirt is covered by over skirt which folds/pleats up from left and right and ties to center back to waist to form a "bustle". Tiered folds fall to hemline. Center back zipper. Lining of stiffened net covered in white satin; waistline has two tiers of satin to shape dress. No label or tag.
