Description: Day dress and underskirt of olive green shantung silk . a) Shirt waist style dress of olive green shantung silk. Knee-length. Round neckline; princess seams; gathered natural waist. Buttons down center front of bodice with a snap at the neckline; covered buttons with bound buttonholes. Left side seam zipper closure from underarm to upper thigh; underarm gussets. Two slit double welt pockets on left and right; 3/4 length sleeves. Attached self tie belt at center back waist. Unlined; 26" waist. Designer's label at inside right: "EISA" b) Unattached straight underskirt. Upper panel of white silk; lower panel of olive green shantung silk. Left side zipper with a hook and eye; folded hem. Unlined.

Skirt suit

Description: Two-piece suit of brown, yellow, olive green and off-white plaid wool twill. a) Semi-fitted jacket of plaid wool. Notched collar and lapel. Bracelet length, two piece, set in sleeves. Double breasted front opening with six round, plastic, olive buttons and three bound buttonholes. One button closure hidden inside lap. Pair of faux pocket flaps on front below waist. Back has a low-slung, self-fabric belt buttoned on at princess seams. Fully lined in ecru silk. Handwritten maker's label at bottom left hem: "Sra : De / Osborne / 964" Handwritten maker's label above previous label: "7" b) Matching knee length, princess paneled skirt with rolled waistband of lining fabric. In-seam pockets at front princess seams. Deep box pleat at center front releases at hip level. Offset left side back zipper closure supplemented by two hook and eye closures at waistband. Folded hem. Fully lined in ecru silk with white silk faille waist support lightly boned with two hook and eye closures.

Evening coat

Description: Cocktail coat of black, elaborate fabric of raised jacquard print, so high it looks like trapunto. Background is an elaboration of little swirls. Print is almost geometric. Roll collar, wrist-length raglan sleeves; set-in pockets (2 on front). Wide silhouette, flared, and about knee-length. Front closure is five large black snaps, inside. Outside for decoration are five black, ball-shaped fringe tassels.

Description: Evening gown of ivory silk knit. Sleeveless; full length. Center front eased at waistline and just above. Skirt is slit up center front from hemline. Rounded neckline forms deep V in back. Center back zipper with hook & eye. Dress has petersham of 2" white grosgrain with shoulder straps of tan organza which attach to dress at top of shoulders. Lined in white silk.
