Beaded dress

Description: Evening gown of magenta chiffon beaded in red bugle beads. Large accent of purple, turquoise and magenta sequined leaves down the center front and back of the gown, as well as smaller leaf accents on the sleeves. Maxi length with asymmetric hemline and irregular, dripping hem. Dress is trimmed in extensive bugle bead fringe at shoulders and below hips. Inverted V-shaped neckline has ½” sequined straps extending from trim around top of gown; deep V-shaped back. Handkerchief styled sleeves have irregular, dripping hem with red bugle bead fringe. Lined in magenta crepe; red grosgrain ribbon petersham. Designer's label at back:"Bob Mackie" Size/cleaning instructions and "Made / in U.S.A." labels at base of zipper.

Beaded evening dress

Description: Ballgown of pale platinum satin embroidered with crystal beads, silver and white bugle beads, crystal teardrops, rhinestones and sequins in floral designs. Sleeveless with modified sweetheart neckline and deep V-shaped back. Full length; full skirt. Raised waist is piped with same fabric. Center back zipper supported with three hook & eyes. Interior of bodice is of matching satin with silver bugle beads and rhinestones at shoulders and is lined in netting with boning. Petersham of white grosgrain ribbon at waist with attached interior peplum support. Understructure of dress is stiffened linen canvas with matching satin lining. Chiffon dress

Description: A) Cocktail dress of avocado green silk chiffon. Knee-length. Bodice has wide V-neckline and closure of three rows of double satin covered buttons with bound buttonholes, reinforced at neckline with a snap and at the waist with three hook & eyes. Silk satin pipe trim along bodice and center front closure. Short sleeves with 2" webbed satin cuffs and underarm gussets. Three-layered silk chiffon skirt is gathered at natural waist creating a full silhouette and is lined in matching taffeta. Skirt has center front zippered opening from waist. Bodice lined in mousseline de soie with green grosgrain ribbon petersham and hook & eye. Designer's label sewn inside skirt on petersham: "Galanos" B) Belt for dress of webbed matching satin; 2-1/2" wide. Buttons onto waist at center-front with double buttons and closes at center back with three hook & eyes.

Cloche

Description: Cloche hat of tan straw. The high, domed crown is of woven tan straw in a spiraling pattern. On either side of the crown is an applique in blue, pink/gray, and black felt of an arc or half-circle. On one side, the arc points up, on the other side it points down. Around the base of the crown is a narrow band of black felt. The brim is also of woven straw, upturned at sides and edged with black felt. The hat is lined in a slightly iridescent bronze/gold fabric, now very shattered. Inside the crown is stitched an ornate label, with a view of two women playing tennis and the inscription: "Berkeley / Made in / California". A small arrow and the word "Front" indicates the front of the hat. Attached to an inner seam of the lining is size label "22".

Description: Coat of purple wool. Below-knee-length, collarless, and with long sleeves. Center front opening with three large, self covered buttons. Two patch pockets trimmed with one matching button each and framed in 3/4 inch inserts. Lined in purple silk crepe. Designer's label at inside center back neckline: "Adrian / Original" With matching covered belt with functioning belt buckle. Leather reverse with three punched holes. Stamped "1756 - 14"

Cocktail Dress

Description: Cocktail dress of large plaid orange, green, purple, and red raw and china silk. The dress is sleeveless, ankle-length, with red/orange raw silk halter-top bodice, "shawl" of same which is attached at mid-back and drapes over shoulders and across front. Lined in pale green. Skirt of dress is of silk, with large, plaid squares of reds, oranges, greens, and purples. Attached cummerbund style belt which buttons in back with 5 self-covered buttons and loops. Center back zipper Lined in light gold organza. Combined designer's/retailer's label at left side seam of lining near hem: "Gump's / San Francisco / Gibson Bayh / Original" Accompanying petticoat formed of three full-length layers of red, purple, and green silk. Each layer with hem band of grosgrain ribbon in a different color, and each with deep net ruffle at hem, also edged with grosgrain ribbon. Center back zipper with two hook & eyes on 1" waistband. Combined designer's/retailer's label at center back waistband: "Gump's / San Francisco / Gibson Bayh / Original"
