Afternoon Dress

Description: Afternoon dress of dark green silk satin, crepe and chiffon. The tunic-style dress of dark green silk satin is street-length, with a drop waist. It has a slight standing collar at back which extends out in front to become long ties with a backing of dark maroon. Below the bow formed by the ties is V-shaped neckline. The full-length sleeves are dark green silk satin from shoulders to elbows and are translucent green crepe from elbows to cuffs. The main part of the gauze sections are embroidered with floral motifs in red, pink, and green/gold. The sleeves have two snaps at each cuff, which are trimmed with bands of pink crepe, maroon crepe, and dark green satin. On the front of the skirt are three wide, slightly overlapping tiers of fabric, split at center front, which start below the hips and end slightly above the hem. The dress is unlined, and there are no tags or labels.

"Aloha" jacket

Description: Man's "Aloha" sports jacket of black cotton with collar and inserted front panels of hibiscus flower printed cotton. "Y-3" logo incorporated into hibiscus floral printed fabric. Single breasted with notched lapel. Long suit sleeves with hibiscus print fabric on top of right sleeve. Patch pockets at sides match fabric of corresponding front panel; vertical zippered pocket at seams of front panels. Center back vent is machine embroidered with Y-3 logo. Partially lined in black net.

American Flag Shoes

Description: "American Flag Shoes". The pair of shoes is of white leather and red and blue suede. Styled in a way reminiscent of bowling shoes, the white leather shoes have rounded toes, and red suede overlays at toe box, upwards in a strip from toebox to vamp, and around lower part of heel. Blue suede overlay stripes at side have star-shaped cut-outs to allow white leather to show through. Blue suede edging at top of upper and top of heel. Shoes lace-up at front, 5 holes per side. White shoe laces. Shoes are "flats", with 3/4" high heels. Brand stamped on inside: "Flings" Illegible stamp inside.

"Arizona Highways" dress

Description: Maxi dress of photo-printed sueded knit. The sheath-style dress is of a polyester/lycra blend sueded knit. Full-length, the dress has a "crew neck" rounded neckline with slight standing collar and short cap sleeves. The dress widens at the hips and tapers to the hem, and has a back vent slit at center back from hem up 47.5cm. The entire garment is photo-printed with images of "travel scenes" of the west - roads, lakes, cacti, cows on farms, rock formations, etc. Designer's label inside at back collar: "Todd / Oldham" Three tags inside near hem: Size: "M" Care: "Dry Clean / Only / Made / In U.S.A." Content: "85% Polyester / 15% Lycra"

Ball gown

Description: Ballgown of beaded light blue silk satin. A) Dress: sleeveless, princess-line, flared, full-length evening gown with moderate square neckline. Overlay bodice detail of matching aqua satin. The overbodice has a slightly empire line with side panels extending over the hips. The overbodice is intricately pieced and embellished with cutwork details and beading. The cutwork treatment extends across the wide shoulder straps, down the bodice front and back and then completely covers the side panels. The beading incorporates clear rhinestones with square pillow-shaped studs in varying shades of aqua and turquoise. The beading was based on the tile work incorporated in the Southland Center, Dallas, Texas. The full, flared skirt is tacked into four wide inverted knife pleats down the front and it is asymmetrically pleated across the back. Center back zipper closure to hipline with a single hook&loop at midback neckline. Placket closure secured with one snap and one hook&eye. The skirt is lined with heavy white pellon and has a horsehair reinforced hem. Label located over inside front bustline. B) Petticoat: full-length, gored, ten panel petticoat of iridescent turquoise/aqua silk satin. Narrow waistband with center back placket opening secured with two hook&eyes. Horsehair reinforced hem.

Ballgown

Description: Design for ballgown. Color sketch of front and back views of gown with A-line skirt heavily trimmed with oversized applied floral accents. Off the shoulder neckline trimmed to match skirt. Back view illustrates four leaf petal inspired panels trailing from waistline. Handwritten note at far left of sketch: "The one she didn't like / The design would swallow you up and be too heavy / We thought it was odd looking & not / airy enough. Description: Design for ballgown or wedding dress. Color sketch of full length front and back views of gown with A-line skirt. Top tier of skirt in floral design gathers at dropped waist and forms a U in back. Underskirt appears to be box pleated sheer fabric; alternative view of underskirt in bottom left corner depicts three tiers of tightly pleated fabric. Bateau neckline with cap sleeves of fabric matching top tier of skirt forms a deep V shape in back view.

Dress appears to have overlaid panel details extending from bodice to hem; panels roll over bodice and hem and are trimmed from bodice down to hips with black floral applique. Ballgown

Description: Design for ball gown, pageant or wedding gown. Color sketch shows three views of a gown with full, bell shaped skirt. Larger, left hand sketch illustrates the front view of a gown with off-the-shoulder neckline. Handwritten notes state "cut out / embroidery work" for the center front panel of the gown and "tulle bands" for the balance of the skirt. The two smaller front and back views of the second version of the gown illustrate a sweetheart neckline and draped floral panel on the back view. Handwritten notes for these views state "silvered tulle / or silk organza".
