National Uranium Resource Evaluation: Williams Quadrangle, Arizona

Description: From Introduction: "The Williams Quadrangle, Arizona (Fig. 1), was evaluated to identify geologic environments and delineate areas that exhibit characteristics favorable for uranium deposits. Evaluations were based primarily on surface investigations; only limited subsurface data were available."

Needles 1° x 2° NTMS Area, California and Arizona: Data Report (Abbreviated)

Description: From abstract: This abbreviated data report presents results of ground water and stream/surface sediment reconnaissance in the National Topographic Map Series (NTMS) Needles 1' x 2 quadrangle. Surface sediment samples were collected at 1672 sites, at a target sampling density of one site per 13 square kilometers (five square miles). Ground water samples were collected at 49 sites. Neutron activation analysis (NAA) results are given for uranium and 16 other elements in sediments, and for uranium… more

Stream Sediment Detailed Geochemical Survey for Date Creek Basin, Arizona

Description: From introduction: The purpose of the Date Creek Supplement is to characterize the chemistry of sediment samples representing stream basins in which the Anderson Mine (and related prospects) occur. Once characterized, the chemistry is then used to delineate other areas within the Date Creek Basin where stream sediment chemistry resembles that of the Anderson Mine area.

Summary Geologic Report on Drilling in Western Prescott and Williams Quadrangles: Mohave, Yavapai, and Yuma Counties, Arizona

Description: From abstract: This drilling project in northwestern Arizona consisted of 18 holes drilled to depths ranging from 1,341 to 5,491 feet (409 to 1,673 meters). The holes were sited to determine the lateral extent of the uranium-bearing, paludal/lacustrine strata of the Anderson Mine in Date Creek basin and to obtain additional data to improve the resource estimates for the Date Creek and Big Sandy basins.
