[Consumer rationing box next to dime]
Photographs of a Consumer Rationing kit from WWII held by UNT Special Collections as part of the Miniature Book Collection. In the first image it is standing up next to a dime for size comparison. The box is thin and orange and has a label on the front with rules about rations and ration stamps. There is important information included at the bottom and a pencil marking that reads "#53". It was a replica of what the stamp booklets looked like during WWII. In the second image the case is in the back and a booklet and ration book are set out in front of it. There is a dime placed beside them for size reference. The book is titled "Consumer Rationing in World War Two" and the booklet is the fourth in a series.
